Aja has had a passion for the arts all of her life. Raised by an artist and musician, she was taught the value of creativity and expression in all aspects of one's life. In addition, she was exposed to cultures from around the world, all of which influence her art today. At age 15, she purchased her first SLR camera and began seeking to learn the art of capturing light in the form of an image. In addition to using the camera as a form of expression, she also enjoyed painting, jewelry fabrication, and creating found art. She founded her business (then called “Earth Magic Visual Arts”) in 2005, and through it sold photography and jewelry. Since then, she has chosen to refine her business, focusing solely on her photos and renaming it “Aja Martin Photography”. Her clients include artists, musicians, weddings, corporations, and art shows. In addition to this, she is always adding new and intriguing photos when she travels, both to try out new techniques, and for her own enjoyment.
